![]() ![]() ![]() And the food wasn't just like your simple cheeseburger with french fries, but it was pulled pork with mashed potatoes and broccoli. They have their food that's offered every single day, but then they also had three other choices specific for that day that the residents could choose. She showed me the menu and it was awesome. Nobody was eating at the time we went, but the staff explained that there's no assigned tables and they can sit wherever they want. It followed us around and it was affectionate with the residents. And they have the cutest, most beautiful cat on the memory side. All the CNAs and the nurses and all the staff that works with the residents were very, very approachable, and you could tell that they enjoyed their job. They cater their activities to the residents, and all the residents that I saw were very well taken care of. ![]() They have seven or eight activities that last throughout the whole day. She showed me their laundry facilities and the list of activities that they have every day. She took me to the kitchen and took me to where they get their haircut. She was able to show me the four different floor plans. She showed me everything they had to offer. When the tour started with the activities coordinator, she was very thorough. The receptionist was very welcoming, and she was explaining just how good she thinks the company is, and that if they had a facility in Wisconsin, she would put her mom in one, and she just kind of explained how well the residents were taken care of. As soon as we walked in it smelled like fresh-baked cookies. It'll start out with assisted, and then as my dad's dementia progresses, we'll go to the memory side if I choose that facility. ![]()
